TP27
My last day of .:R32 ownership has arrived. The Blue Devil goes to a new home tomorrow morning. Two very enjoyable years of effortless and trouble free driving, a car that always puts a broad smile on your face! Two principle highlights have been that in DBP, the car IS a headturner. Everywhere you go, people comment "nice car"! Second highlight has been the note of the engine allied to the Blueflame roar, magic!!! As anyone with an .:R knows, the car stereo is irrelevant....just open the windows, batter it and enjoy!! All in all, the past years have been brilliant and the Scottish TSN contingent have been great at our (now infrequent) Meets. Not sure what will be on the driveway next but for the months ahead, it's the Polo Soot Chucker!! TP.

TP27
Big Meg's treatment....comes up a dream!!! Top of the list was a new .:R but I'm going off that idea totally now, given the photos from Frankfurt.

TP27
[ QUOTE ] Its a sad day.... what is next then? [/ QUOTE ] Simple truth is I have NO idea? Looked at the new RS4 but likely to be too expensive, the new .:R was the intention BUT until I see one in the fleah I'm a wee bit cool on it....no other alternatives hit the spot at the moment. TP. ClimberSP
I will wait for the New R32. I start to appreciate it. It has better platform (chassis improved), better breaks, more power, better seats (the same as in the RS4), DSG gear box. On the other side, you have the V generation line (i don't like it) and awfull wheels (you can change them). I think it could be nice to wait till the new R36 ;-)

NewNiceMrMe
Hey, this is quite strange...... Earlier today I received a phone call from a mysterious source that said myself and Milo should visit a service station in the Northeast. Hmm, we thought, could this be a cunning ploy to nick our cars. I contacted Milo and we journeyed towards Washington Services whereby the said Mystery Man (who was dark and mysterious as you can see below) turned up in an R32 that looked strikingly similar to that previously owned by Tosh. So we had a mini-meet and a coffee with the said Mystery Man and his R32. Then, he disappeared as quickly as he had arrived (after 1.5 hours of chatting anyway!). See for yourself...how very odd eh? It was a very nicely maintained R32 too, much like that previously owned by Tosh.... Milo chatting to the Mystery Man who you can see was dark and mysterious indeed... MrMe's car and the Mystery Man's R32 Milo's car and MrMe's car The car's lined up with the Mystery Man's R32 shining remarkably like Tosh's recently sold R32... I mean, what are the odd's of that happening? On the day Tosh sell's his R32 a car looking identical to it turns up out of the blue (a nice blue too!) and myself and Milo meet a Mystery Man who owns it! Very odd eh. NewNiceMrMe
Oh yes, and that was just Milo.... I have to say it was one very very nice looking car though. A credit to it's former keeper without doubt. The tints suited it and I've never been a big fan of suchlike - but they genuinely looked good on the car. TP27
Got text this morning, eventually arrived home at 1.15am this morning. Very very long day for the poor fella!! Milo
The exhausts were the some of the shiniest I've seen. They had been meticulously cleaned inside and out and made a lovely sound Superb rich colour too that had obviously been clay barred recently. Very nice. TP27
[ QUOTE ] The exhausts were the some of the shiniest I've seen [/ QUOTE ] Top tip for the exhaust, mix Autosol with Megs Wheel Wax when you buff them up as it seems to keep the exhaust carbons off the surface.
