pontyslapper
Reminds me of the Roller Parker drove in Thunderbirds.
sayerbloke
It reminds me of a lot of cars, depending on the angle you look at it from. Drop the 6 wheel idea, and it would look pretty good.
Philbes
Must have a very cramped footwell with a nasty offset on the pedals.
NeilB
I'd like to the stats for the car, as 6 wheel cars are a good idea in theory, but in reality they have never worked.
Thorburn
[ QUOTE ] I'd like to the stats for the car, as 6 wheel cars are a good idea in theory, but in reality they have never worked. [/ QUOTE ] The prefered application of the theory is generally 2 sets of rear wheels though, I remember reading about research that Williams did into the 6-wheel concept after Tyrell introduced theres and before it was banned. NeilB
True, it worked on the Tyrrell as it imporved the front areo of the car. But the test's that Ferrari, March and Williams did with 4 rear wheels showed that it wasn't faster then a normal 4 wheel car, the only way to make it quicker then a normal car was to have 4WD. Which the FIA then banned as soon as it was on the drawing board, sods.
danksy
Fear the tyre bills! Also if you wanted to change the alloys, fear the cost On a practicle note, I wonder if it would make the ride almost unbearable over anything other than smooth surfaces? PonchoJ
ride would be better wouldnt it? considering the fact that each shock absorber and spring would be of a lower rating than a car with only 4 wheels?
