h5djr
You can ask your dealer to take off the "2 touch" unlocking of the doors. They just need to reprogram the system.
CarMad
Got cruise on mine and I don't think I have noticed any issues with the cruise when switching it off. Will check going on a long trip on Thursday. And as stated above the 2 press unlock can be switched off really easily with the diagnostics. DON'T let them charge you for it. Its a couple of key presses on a PC !!
Fergy
Been to stealers today. they say that when you press cancel on stalk A3 normal to have a delay before cruise is knocked off. A4 is instant cut off. How can the same system be so different? or is the stealer talking bollocks. They also took another A3 out and apparently it was the same with a second or so delay. PS got the 2 touch cancelled thanks...N/C
Simonl
[ QUOTE ] How can the same system be so different? [/ QUOTE ] Audi won't make the components, merely piece them together. So they may indeed be completely different systems A3 - A4. But it's more than likely going to be software
runflat
I have had 2 A3's with cruise now and they both have a short delay (about 1 sec) using the stalk to cancel. I just got used to it and tried to plan ahead when turning off...such as approaching a slower speed limit.
Mollox
Just tap the clutch or brake to instantly disconnect the cruise
