That takes me back to when I was a kid. I used to kick stones at my sister as we walked home from school. In frustration, one day she decied to kick one back, needless to say, she kicked a pile of white doings instead. I nearly died laughing, I think I actually stopped breathing for a moment. yelrotflmao.gif That was it, I didn't kick stones at her after that, just to keep the moment pure. 169144-ok.gif

I have to say the 1 series is growing on me. I reckon it looks quite good from that angle. If you need/want a five door hatch it's got to be a contender. What are the other "prestige" options? A3 Sportback or Golf. The A3 Sportback is a bit of a minger and the Golf has a low rent interior (although in saying I haven't seen a 1 series interior).

The 1-series is a fantastic car to drive, well built, well engineered, the 120d is an absolute storming little performer...and they look cooler by the day.

IMO they're a decent looking car and as the photo shows they can become a good looking car with the right wheels and a half-decent colour (although I think the black one's look even nicer).

Interesting the 1 series is on my list of possible cars when the Z4 goes back in about 6 months. I think after having a bangle design for a year the design of the other models starts to grow on you . The 1 series M Sport versions certainly improve on the standard looks, plus the contract hire rates on a 120d sport are pretty attractive.

To be honest though I'm waiting to see what the deals are like on the new Golf GT when it's launched in a few months. 170bhp in either 2.0d or 1.4 petrol with supercharger & turbo with the option of DSG.

Other cars I'm looking at ..... new passat, 3 series, A3.
