cabby
.... 1977 Mk 1 Fiesta 1300s similar to the pic below except that it was silver (very ahead of its time don't you think), had a full length after-market canvas sunroof and XR3 pepper pot wheels. Soooo classy. Next person to the confession box please.

JamesB
Methinks this has been done once or twice before but it's always fun - Mark 2 Fiesta Popular in Burgundy Red. 947cc of raw power and boy, did I hammer it. To the untrained eye, it must have looked more like I had a 950cc engine.

Avus_Bub
Did a ground up restoration (welding, engine and paint) on a MK3 CORTINA 2000E SeriesIII '76 Bright Yellow with a black vinyl roof I that car. It was my first car but I never drove it at first. So technically my first. My first car after passing my test was a '88 Renault 5 GTX 1.7 3dr - Titian Red Met - 5 Turbo suspension - Zender Alloys,Yokohama A008's - Devil Exhaust - It was a right looker in 1990 It'd still look good now IMO. NewNiceMrMe
I'm sure we've had this question a million times. However, Vauxhall Cavalier, 1.3L, 4 door, metallic brown, 1977/78 plate I think. It was bloody awful.
activa
[ QUOTE ] You or the car??? [/ QUOTE ] Me in that car most definately. I actually used to think it was quick and decent looking. I remember going to my Italian friends house in it,all proud, telling him how cool it was for a first car. Until he showed me the Monte Carlo Spyder he'd bought!

Dusty
1980 MK 1 Black Golf GTI..... brilliant car... 1.6 engine, no fancy gizmos or anything to weigh it down fast and light. I was in Germany at the time so it was a left hooker and much cheaper then you'd get over here.
