NeilB
Anyone got any views on this card? Specing up a new PC from MESH and was wondering if it's any good or a bag of
R32North
Can't comment just yet, but just got one off Rusty and when I get round to fitting it I'll let you know. But based on my previous experiences it'll probably be weeks before I get round to it so you'll probably get one, fit it before me and let me know what you think! Sponge
The 9800 rage of cards were very good in their day and still are. I'm surprised they're still specced on a new PC though. ATI don't actually list that model. Here's a review of a card with the same chipset. As you can see, it's dated Dec 2003. I'd be looking for a PCI-E motherboard/gfx on a new PC. That way you can easily upgrade when you need better performance. However, a 9800 Pro would be a lot better than the SE, if you have the option.
