lj329
Just a quick question..... there seems to be numerous VWs (well mainly Golfs/Passats) of about the S/T/V plate era which don`t have the vehicle or engine type sign/identification on the rear. Was this a conscious decision by VW, what`s the story ? Yours intrigued..... Lj

Bigal, Sorry to piddle on your strawberries but back in 1999, the company I worked for took on about 20 VW as company cars, all were unbadged and I have never found any particular reason why................ felixthecat1
You can just opt to have the the car debadged when you spec it. Lots of company car fleets are debadged. People get less paranoid about what work mates are driving, apparently. Is that the record for the biggest pic ever attached to a post, or what? It's fecking huge. felixthecat1
[ QUOTE ] BMW was the first manufacturer I saw to offer the delete badge no cost option. [/ QUOTE ] Asta, don't you just love BMW, how could you ever charge for NOT doing something. And then make a fuss when you stop ripping people off. Rob, size isn't everything, it's the first pic of your car we've ever seen on TSN and that can't be bad.
Wobby
No No, thats not my car. Thats a pic someone else was trying to display. I was helping them. Mines in the unpopular funny deep red colour! Everyone hates it except me . To not do something on an automated process will always cost more money than to let the process run

As for the colour it's not bad. Way better than Fresco Green.
Munki
When I bought mine some comedian had "taken the P" so it said 'assat'. I asked the dealer to remove the rest of it and not bother putting another on. I was tempted to drve it with the word 'ass' on the back but then thought better of it.
