tainted_love
further to my two posts, V6 Golf Mk4 and refusal of car still looking at cars, left the idea of v6 golf as not worth it now but hit on the idea of R32, if am gona do it might as well go for full show seen a couple around net, stealers ideal as come with some form of rubbish VW warranty, all within my budget with extra left and nearly year old with decent millage. i know mpg its not the best including insurance (will put tracker and Pentagon glass asap), but what else should i look out for, i know from the R32 forum about the t-pipe issue, any more help would be great guys
R32North
They can suffer form failed strut top mounts, failed transmission mount / link failure, anti-roll bar links can alos go. #6463 ECU update should be doen, if not get it done. All the usually checks, like wheel alignment, tyres, etc. Also, listen for unusal sounds from the engine area, ie clunks, rattles, etc when engine is running or fast idle, ie 1200-1400 rmps..... anything that sounds like it shouldn't be there is a big giveaway.
