Big_Dan
Just pay a couple of quid a month extra for a "Home Office" or Small business connection.

Sponge
Blueyonder (Telewest Cable) don't impose any limits. However, they have been bought by NTL who do. BY say they have no intention on imposing download caps, but that could change... I really hope they don't, because I would have to move ISP
shark_90
Pipex do not have limits. Precisely why I chose them, as I use them for work. And the service is spot on.
Big_Dan
Pipex, although their home products are being monitored and capped subject to "reasonable use", their home office connection is guaranteed never to be.
colinc
Have a look at Eclipse Internet, the flex package allows you to subscribe to a 512K or 1Meg then "flex" up to 2Meg on demand on a pay as you go basis www.eclipse.net.uk should get you there
Gaunty
Demon don't cap, neither do UKOnline but I'm getting very poor service from them at the moment.
Chelsea Mick
Bulldog don't have any capped limits at all and if you live in the right place they do a 8meg connection for £29.50 a month I have had a 2mb connection with them for nearly 2 years and have never had a problem with thier connection. Thier customer service used to be really poo but it is getting better as they get bigger. Still a bit on the dodgy side but you can live with it. skifly
plusnet dont have any limits coming in - they just scrapped the idea but did say that if there were issues they may throttle some ports on a local level if i remember correctly. Wouldnt worry about it too much!
Sparky
Plusnet are capping P2P activity when you go over 99GB per month, as I found out. Of course, they only admit it during a heated phonecall.
aal234
thats one hell of a lot of downloading. If I have worked it out correctly (assuming 512kb/s connection) the maximum you could download in a month is 165GB (512kb/s = 64KB/s so in one minute you can download 3.84MB. 3.84 x 60 = 230MB per hour. 230 x 24 = 5.5GB per day. 5.5 x 30 = approx 165GB ). Feel free to point out errors in my maths (I got a D at GCSE three times so not overly surprised if it is wrong!)Thats running 24/7 with an average of 30 days per month. If plus' limit is 99GB can you not just check the usage online then cut back when you get close? I check mine fairly often and rarely touch 40GB.
