Ritey
How many Vauxhall owners do we have currently registered, you don't have to say who you are
sayerbloke
My first two cars were Vauxhalls. My brother has a Vauxhall [my old Astra] and my stepdad owns a Zafira. I don't currently own one, but as far as semi-budget cars go, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
CarMad
My other half has a Corsa. I wasn't involved in the purchase mind, however its not a bad motor. Its only 3 cylinders but it has a nice sound to it. Have had 3 Vectras as company cars short term leases for 2 of them, both a 1.8 LS. They are great for motorway cruising but not corners, they just don't do corners. But I did have a 2.0 SRI for 12 months and it was a cracking car. Good on the motorway great round the twisty bits and a gem in the range. (I was the best co car I could afford at the time. ) My other half might get the new Astra soon, it looks good and isn't bad to drive and is good value. You can't go wrong at the price point for them these days IMO.

theduisbergkid
I recall my dads brand new Vectra being delivered, with rust on the weld seams in the boot, electrical sillys .... a utter shed. Spent ages badgering him into getting something a bit more exciting (and with better residuals), thinking he'd get a VW and he gets a .... Mundano. LeadFoot
Bought a little 2 year old Corsa for my wife earlier this year from a localish auction house. She only passed her test the previous month so it seemed like a good idea. 3 cylinders, group one insurance and virtually runs on fumes. Very nippy for round the town, have to say I'm very impressed! I guess at this point I should also admit that I've been known to borrow it every now and again just for running the odd little errand....shhhhhhhh! cruiser647
I have had many a Vx. All Omegas. From the 2.0 16v, the 2.5 sourced BMW TD and the V6 2.5. They are fine cars. (sorry, also had 2 Cav CD's (1982 1.8i hatch and 1987 2.0i Hatch - again fine engines!) Have also driven my mates 3.2 V6 Vectra and Vectra Signum(cracking cars) and also the 2.0 Turbo Signum (not so good) The old Vectra's had pooh seats, but in GSi form......great motor!!!! DeanW
My other half has got a 54 plate Corsa SRI, quite a nice little car actually. I have had few Vauxhalls in the past myself too including a very limited edition (1 of 4) Black Vectra V6 Supertouring 200 and an Astra 888 coupe
hotdog
Piloting a Vivaro 1.9Di van. A/C, full elecrics pack, its great. Could do with a bit more go, but it will still trundle along at 70 plus with 2.5 tons all up! Also got a Mk3 Astra estate for the daily run around. Not a bad old bus!! malagus
My dad has a x-reg astra club 1.6 8v. great little car which seems to clock up long distances quickly with great comfort. We were tempted by the vectra SRi, but the only ones we found sounded a bit rough for the money. my mate's vecta SRi really flies, and is somewhat of a Q-car. MattR32
Another added. Are we going to get banned then?! Think Mose wins the "nicest" Vauxhall prize. Liking my estate though and it's just been polished.
