Ari
I've got a scanner at home, but no printer. To be honest I very rarely need to print although it would be useful occasionally (at the moment if I need to print anything then I have to email it to work and print it). However it strikes me that the space the scanner is taking up could better be used by a scanner/printer which would probably take up the same shelf space but be way more useful. As I say, I only want to use it occasionally, so don't want to spend a fortune, so whats a good cheapy scanner/printer? Also, I've only got two USB ports on my PC. One is used by the cordless mouse, the other by my illuminated keyboard. So how can I plug my new printer in when I get it? (Everythnig seems to be USB connected these days). All advice gratefully received as ever.
NeilB
I've got myself a Belkin 8 port USB hub works fine and I've got one port free at the moment, you could put another 4 USB ports in by buying a PCI card and inserting it into the motherboard if you have a free slot. Manged to find this HP PSC 1315 for about £82. Seems to be an ok AIO jobbie with people saying the quality of the print out's are pretty good. The only moan people have with it is that it doesnt come with a fax.
CarMad
Got a 1215 that I bought my other half to use at uni. Have to say its really good for the money. Not the best at printing or scanning but it certainly does the job for 90% of situations. The models above are probably a little better. But I would certainly recommend it.
