emm3
I went from an M3 to an RS6 six months ago and haven't looked back since, it's also easy to tune, mine's a tad over 500 bhp and 500 lb/ft torque now. The thing that swung it for me is the way in which you can get the power down, just bury your right foot and away you go. The worst thing is having to tow a petrol tanker around with me wherever I go Only kidding, I do get 15 mpg now and again

[/ QUOTE ] Lot's of changes, the re-map was carried out about 3 weeks ago and the Wife was having lot's of problems with her cab so we got all of our money back and bought a two year old Merc. The Merc doesn't rumble like the S4 though

Who did the remap? Ian
emm3
AmD via Wayside - same price and they lent me a car - less problems with any warranty issues. I think the Merc will depreciate as much as the Audi though, there's too many around (I've now found out after buying it) Cheers Steve
Ian_C
Yeah but no doubt you got the colour and spec you wanted at a good price? The 500 has the clever 'skyhook' doesn't it? Ian
Booster
It would appear that Simeyfour is very close to making a decision. Dealer has offered him £28,750 for his 53 plate M3. An incredible price!! They have also dropped the price of their car by 1k. I'm sure he'll report back tomorrow....
simeyfour
The RS6 in questions has dodgy brakes which i now understand from some reasearch is a common problem. Dealer has offered to change pads and discs as part of deal. I've decided not to do it. It just didn't really do it for me. I have to feel something special in a car before i buy it. I've come to the conclusion that I'll have to wait for the new M3 or shell out a bit more cash and get a porky C4s. I'll have a look at the RS4 when its available but i reckon it will have to be something special for its 50K list price. Thanks for eveyones input anyway and sorry Booster no more finance coming your way!!!! Si
