1995 Mk3 1.4 Fuel Pump (In Tank) Compatibility Qu

Dear Enthusiasts,

My wife's 1.4 Mk3 Golf (N reg, injection, AEX engine) may require a new fuel pump (VDO type in tank). The item in there is a 1H0 919 651P where the fuel pump is separate from the sender unit (which is mounted on the cap which fits onto the tank).

I have been offered a 651H model - is this compatible please, and which other models in the range would suffice as a replacement?
