SneakyMcC
Pls let us know how you get on. Could be good for us all. If you have a PC, knock up a trade letterhead and fax asking for an estimate. You might be able to blagg a trade discount (35%?). Thats what I generally do. SneakyMcC
I'm not saying these folk will give you 35%, I have never used them. They might give 50%! You need to ask what they'll do it to the trade for. You can then haggle for more if you wish. The brakes (disks and pads all roound) I bought earlier in the year I got 35% as I did on the tools I needed. I only managed to get 20% off my dining room furniture, but the discount alone came to £900! You can walk in off the street and get 10% almost anywhere, even at your local stealers I just tell companpies that "the boss has asked me to call them and get a proforma invoice faxed to me within the hour". The boss is leaving and I must get the cheque sorted before he goes. They wont send the stuff until the cheque arrive (sometimes till its cleared. So who loses?
