rockstar
Hi m8 really easy ,did this to mine ages ago, tilt your mirrors all the way back (so bottom part of mirror is sticking out as much as possible) get a ruller or some similiar implement and gently but with some pressure gradually pop the mirror off its plastic clips which hold it in internally moving along the bottom bit by bit, should come away after that, disconnect the wire for the heated mirror, and you will now see the internal motor and housing of the mirror, should be 4 screws, one in either corner or thereabouts, youll see them anyway, unscrew these,on the underside outside you also need to remove the 2 screws which hold the black bottom plastic part, this then just unclips out,you should be able to remove the mirror housing and replace with the alu housings, and reverse reapeat the about instructions...pretty easy to do and should take long at all! nice mod! hope ive helped. DeanW
Make sure you remove the mirror glass by putting pressure on the top/bottom of the glass rather than the left/right - otherwise you'll shatter the mirror like I did and end up paying £25 for a new one!
