dq1
Can anyone recommend a long lasting tyre? Not too arsed with having fantastic performance, as not looking at track days, but there are alot of roundabouts in MK!! Checked mine at the w/e and they are on the legal limit car is an A3 1.8T 2000 (x) Thanks in advance
Dusty
My Mk IV golf I had used to have, had Good Year Eagle F1 tyres on it.. and they lasted for 30000 miles, and I didn't actually drive like Miss Daisy either.

Chav
I got 35000 miles from my old Dunlop SP9000's too on the heavy cabrio! I now have Kumho tyres which are supposedly hard wearing. (and they're cheap! ) Grip seems just as good as the dunlops too.
dq1
When I bought my A3 back in Feb the tyres were 205/55/R 16's, shall I stick to the same size? Think Im going to go for the Dunlop SP9000 (Special Offer) they’re £10 cheaper a tyre than the Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3 (Special Offer) http://www.blackcircles.com/public/order?view=standard What do you guys reckon? peterb
I can vouch for the SP9000s too - my wife got 30k out of the set on her A2, and I'm currently up to 22k on the set on my RS6 with quite a bit of tread left.
