DHA
Following me on the M25 today. V plate impreza turbo. 2 guys in it with hoodies on. Now I am sure that a V plate impreza would cost a bit to insure still. If it was insured that is...or stolen.

cruiser647
The drug money would have easily covered the insurance.......and extra bling bling jewellery....(mandatory)
R32North
Damn, if you saw me driving I'm sure you think I nik'd it and phone Mr Policeman forth with! I drive with my hoody and beanie hat, stuble, ear ring, etc. Most would say I don't look like should be driving, let alone owing an R32!!

No offence of course. No, for me, it is how the car is being driven that would usually give it away - then the occupants.
simonb
I once borrowed my Dad's friends company SLK200 when i was 18. Fully insured of course. It was just over a year old - the car i mean. I made sure i looked as chavvy as possible in the hope that i'd get pulled and would be able to 'get one over'! I never did - i just drove to the petrol station, bought a packet of chewing gum and then drove back home. Crazy things you do when you're 18. Nice car though - quicker that i expected! NunchukHamster
Me and three friends used to go and watch Manchester United at home as often as we could. Trouble was, we normally took my dad's Sierra Cosworth. Four young blokes, in football shirts etc, leaving Manchester in a shiny new Cossie? I lost count of the number of times we got pulled for a check!
simonb
Sierra Cossies - i remember them from when i was a kid. That's when i though i was into cars - i wanted a Cossie - everyone else a Testarossa - running with the crowd!
