Optical Illusion?

Hi All,

I often think when looking at my silver R that the front wings appear to be a different colour to the rest of the car ROLLEY~14.GIF.

I have looked at the galleries and think that I can see this in other cars too!

Do you think:

(1) The front wing are probably a different colour

(2) I have gone completely bonkers

(3) This is a known optical illusion

(4) All of the above frown.gif

I would have attached a picture om my wheels If I could work out how to do it (plz tell me)

Cheers,

Dave

I reckon it's option 2 for you Dave!

The curved lips of the front wings definitely play a part in the illusion though.

When you are adding a new thread or commenting on an existing one, make sure you leave the "Preview Reply" option ticked, and then you will get a screen that looks like the one below. Just click browse to select your picture from your computer (it has to be a .jpg or .gif) and then click the "OK, Submit" button...

There is a post on here explaining attaching photos but I'll give you my quick version. First make sure photo not too big. I think 800x600 is best (I'll get told otherwise in a minute!). Make sure you fill in subject of thread (this is maybe whats missing?) and then "Browse" to find attachment (the address of the image on your computer). When image has uploaded and the thread is visible, open the attachment and copy the address (the http://www blahblah) by right clicking on it in the address bar and selecting 'copy'. Click 'Back' to return to thread. Then click edit on your thread/post. This opens your thread and you will see 'instant ubb code' for 'image'. Click on this and in the address bar that opens, right click and paste the address in here. Click 'continue' a couple of times and voila, the photo magically appears in the post.
