gazd
right this is for my brothers a3 t sport. the abs light has been coming on and its turning into a nightmare. Its been in lancaster audi more than its been on the road this month. Its had new wheel sensors, new loom and now a new ecu but still it comes on and locks the wheels up when slowing. Its starting to get very expensive, has anyone got any ideas that we can hit them with as the bill is nearing £1.2k !!!!! is this a comon prob with an easy fix or is this car a feck up
jonboy3020
sounds like they are just throwing parts at it, do you mean properly locks up, or calipers stick on a bit after braking?
gazd
locks up properly and/or abs starts pumping the pedal, no mater how you drive
jonboy3020
is it running the punched disc system? if so the discs can crack and obviously confuse the abs sensor signal causing the wheels to lock when braking
