Snail
Its wierd, for years, the japanese have built excellent, yet bland looking cars, now look at the BMW/Audi/Merc, they look bland, and the japanese are designing the stunning cars. When the Japanese learn to make driveable cars, the Germans are REALLY in trouble.
silentandy
Wow nice attention to detail! How much are these going to sell for?
Mac
[ QUOTE ] When the Japanese learn to make driveable cars, the Germans are REALLY in trouble. [/ QUOTE ] Are you kidding? I'd put a 10 year old Skyline 4 x 4 up against anything Audi could put together - including the RS4. The handling on the GTR34v Spec was just astonishing

mrzed
Here are some real pics As far as the prices are concerned, the R34 sold for between 5 and 6 million yen. I've heard figures of over 10 million for this. Lots of rumours about the engine. Usually twin turbo but alternating between V6 and V8. The name Cosworth has been heard as have the terms 'electrically assisted turbos', 'e-4WD'
BrianFD3S
@chav apparently all that Nissan have so far is a shell, no engine or interior to speak of, but probably more than 400bhp check out this perputual fountain of information for more

NewNiceMrMe
Can't say I'm bowled over by the Skyline pictures, but it looks better than the current chavhorror anyway. It's performance will no doubt be earth-shattering and if that's your only thing for a car then I guess it'll be on any possible buying list. R32North
Looks a bit 'Cadillac' at the front wing !!
theduisbergkid
I just know the performance will be mental, and I love unusual cars, but if it was my £50k I think I would go for something else like maybe a Tuscan (and decent AA cover) ... The Skyline looks a bit too tarty for me ..
mrzed
That's £50k if you bought it in Japan. After seeing what stealers charge for WRXs over there, I'd hate to know what this would go for. Basicly, they're estimating almost double the price of the R34

CarMad
Looks great but is more focused than any of the others have been. I used to live near Andy Middlehurst who was the sole main importer of them, was nice to see R33GTR going past every so often, plus he raced them. It looks like the front is made out of carbon fibre from the pictures if thats the case then 50k is cheap and the potential performance could be huge. Especially as the 280bhp self imposed limit is all being dropped by them all. This could be one serious super car.
Mook
Nice, nice, nice and very nice Yes please. But not at £49,999. £35K maybe, but not that much.
