Ari
I have a very nice Panasonic surround sound DVD/CD/radio in my bedroom, only snag is it's not a digital receiver. Been looking for a digital receiver that looks smart and can plug into the AUX socket to provide digital reception. I've found THIS ONE at Currys which looks compact and smart, but it is £60 which seems a lot. Any suggestions for a cheaper one, or a better one for the money? Chav
Doesn't seem to be that many around. Here's the getdab list .... DAB hi-fi linky I could have sworn I saw one in the local currys a couple of weeks ago that was £39.99. May have been a Bush one.. it also connected to the aux input etc.
Ari
Doesn't seem to be any on that list. Agree there are few about (hence my question) which seems odd as if you have a decent hi fi it is an excellent way of upgrading (and is the commonplace solution for converting TV's via Freeview boxes). danksy
Why not just get a freeview box? You'll get the benefit of Digital TV for the bedroom too!
Ari
Actually that is a good idea. Only probem is a Freeview box won't display station info, so with the TV off it'd make finding channels a bit of a pain.

Ari
And suddenly without warning it was £39-99 for the normal shop one (ie not refurbed, and not having to order off the Internet and pay delivery). So I bought one!
