Frodo
I see the cabriolet and Q7 will have a 233ps 3.0TDi engine whilst the current engine in th A4 B7 develop 204ps. What is the differences between these engines? Are sites have technical information on the Audi engines?
AZURES3
Probably a good thing as the Cab is heavier than the saloon. AZ
Frodo
Quite a big jump from 204 to 233, so is it a remap or have components been swapped? Will this engine upgrade appear in the A4 B7 Saloon & Avant?
Kell
Here's the technicaol data for the new Cab. If you have similar for the old 3.0 engine, then there may be a clue. http://www.audi-press.co.uk/databank/tec...20Data%20UK.pdf

Look at the lights and the bonnet shutline around the top of the grill.
jimdiesel
Getting back to the topic of the thread. The 3.0TDi is available in 204/225/233ps versions. All with the same torque figure. There are no mechanical differences, just mapping tweaks. If you get the chance, try and listen to the 3.2FSi petrol engine at idle compared to the 3.0TDi. The petrol engine is the one with the most mechanical clatter. This engine in the Cab will be excellent.
