[Audi A3/S3] Service due?

Quick question, my car is saying 'Service in 1800 miles 10 days' so which is it the sooner or the later of the two?

ie in my case the 10 days will come before the 1800 miles.

Guessing the 'puter is taking an average and it's just a warning that you need to think about booking a service, but judging by my experience of Audi dealers, you'll need towait longer than 10 days for them to fit it in.....

I'd go for sooner.

Mine came up with 1100 miles last week and I though I'd be safe for a few weeks until I ended up having to do Nottingham to Canterbury on Monday

So booked it in for second AVS plus a brake fluid change next week.

i would go by milege....mine is due in 1100 miles too but it says 456 days and i do average 250 per week.

Well I've booked it in for next week, it may go longer but it has the original oil in it after 13k miles, I know they say it's OK but to me that seems a long time without an oil change, especially the first one.

mine has the same oil too,bought my car as a demo with 5500miles.it will be fine.they put really good mix in!
