Favourite consoles

Browsing on Ebay made me think about all the consoles I'd owned (right back to an original pong game!) and which one I'd enjoyed most. Now, I know the older ones can't compete with the modern day stuff now but which console have you actually enjoyed the most at the time.

For me it's actually got to be the Dreamcast. With the web element that was pre anyone else and for the old Sega favourites like Sega Rally and Virtua Tennis.

They go on Ebay for a tenner now with 5 games!!

Must admit the the Dreamcast was an excellent bit of kit.

Can't beleive I sold mine on Ebay last year frown.gif

What was I thinking confused.gif

Anyway, because of technology and the way it moves forward, the Xbox is the one for me. Online gaming as it should be 169144-ok.gif

I enjoyed the dreamcast at the time but it can't compete with todays consoles.

Virtua Tennis was the dogs by the way wink.gif

I've kept all my old consoles. Not worht selling them. The SNES and Megadrive still come out from time to time. I have both the PS2 & Xbox, but no on line capability for either. Would have to go for PS2 because up until very recently was streets ahead of anyone on the titles it had to offer. Sure my oppinion will change when I get my arse into gear and get Xbox Live sorted!

N64 coupled with Goldeneye owns all bases.

I second that. I haven't played it in years and the PC games I play now are, technically, better. But for shear gameplay it was unbeatable.

Get your mates around, have a few beers, some munchies and fire up Goldeneye - those were the days...

I still have my N64 somewhere. Like already mentioned, it simply isn't worth selling. And you never know when you'll feel like firing it up again.

Used to be tradition to come in from the pub on a Friday night with a couple of mates, collapse on sofa, switch on PS1 and bring on Worms!

[/ QUOTE ]

worms on the ps1 was awesome, I could never understand why my mates were into it, then one night got totally hooked.

And yeah, get rid of the green sig! smile.gif
