Smudge
OK, we have all had some run-ins with Main Stealers at some point, but I'm sure there have been moments of joy too?? My vote for the best main dealer (within the VW Network) that I've experienced would be Vindis in St Ives. Sales - good. Service Dept - very helpful and efficient Master Tech - a perfectionist that treats cars like they're his own. Whats your best experience ? Go on, give thema pat on the back. theduisbergkid
OK, Arthur Prince in Loughborough, who replaced cambelt, waterpump and alternator all under warranty with no arguement, and got me a courtesy car, all within 2 days of me reporting a 'funny ticking noise' .... top stuff.... garcon magnifique
Best was J Wilding Subaru in Morecambe. Sadly now merged with their Kendal dealership so no longer in existence, and probably not the same since the sales manager left a few years back. Very good service all round, and made picking up my brand new Impreza Terzo specila edition very special - imagine roller shutter garage door lifting to reveal beasty within! Dave
By far the best is Carr's Audi, Truro, Cornwall. The sales staff are superb, helpful and informed.. interested in what they are doing and it shows. Service department are also excellent and will listen to suggestions and give you an honest answer. Loan cars are always clean and of the same brand. All in all, i wouldn't even think of taking my business anywhere else. They even put the Abt chip in my RS6.. arranged it all for me and did the work... Good work chaps!
CarMad
Lexus every dealer I have been too. The Stockport and centra Manchester garages are without reproach IMO and experience.
garcon magnifique
According to the Lexus owners club website, Manchester is one of the worst Lexus dealerhips and Stockport one of the best.
CarMad
Never had an issue with either but it has been a few years now since I had the Lexus. It might have also been due to the fact that I got on very well with the dealer manager at Manchester, but I believe he has now moved on.

[/ QUOTE ] Yep - been to Lexus Stockport when my mum purchased and collected both her Lexus' - they are a great dealership, great company! Wicked 'hand-over' area and they still give you flowers too when you get your new car! Come to think of it, Culvers Toyota in Macclesfield - their servicing guy was very helpful when i had my old '88 Corolla GTi (fwd phsycho machine!), sourcing me loads of parts and getting good discounts. Honda Stockport were also very good when i purchased my Honda a few years back and service department were good too. Japanese Manufacturers = Good dealership maybe??? mooret
Sytners are indeed the proud owners of Graypaul and have been for quite a few years. Used to dream like mad every time I drove past the showroom in Loughborough. (moved away 2 years ago)(me not Graypaul) Speaking of Loughborough would have to agree with The Duisberg Kid that Arthur Prince VW are top notch. Bought two cars from them including the recently departed R32. The other outstanding dealer I have dealt with is Bridgegate (BMW) in Derby. First class service from them all the way down the line, including the M3 courtesy car when the wifes then current 318iS coupe went in for speedo repairs.
