Durrsaku
Has any had any experience with these? They claim 30mm lower over standart, is this true for Sport as well?
DeanW
I used G Max springs when I lowered mine, unfortunately not got any before and after pics but it made a huge difference even with my old 18" alloys, they quote a 30mm drop too. Durrsaku
Ah, that does look nice. The cheapest i hve found for a set of eibach is £149 then i have to pay for fitting as well. Who fitted those for you?
shark_90
Has it compromised the handling CabLad? Dropping is the next mod for me, mine's an SE and with the 18s on it does look a bit high.

shark_90
Spot on! I presume you just had the springs done, not the dampers as well?
DeanW
Just the springs mate, I would imagine dampers are serious money
clifty127
Hi All, Ive just registered and have very recently bought my first Audi, a 99 S4 saloon. Im interested in sorting out the handling plus dropping it a bit with the Eibach Pro springs as mentioned, is this price for the A4?? The cheapest ive found them for my car is £168!! The eibach part number is E-1568.140 . Has anybody seen these cheaper?? Also interested in some stronger ARB's front and rear, anybody got any recomendations!?? Neuspeed/eibach......??? Any help or advice greatly appreciated guys, Cheers James.
John_Doe
James, I'm thinking about doing this to my S4. The info you have seems to be the going rate for the Eibach's....are you going ahead with it and have you had any eventual handling concerns etc? David
Durrsaku
That does look a good price. I don't think you can get it cheaper.
clifty127
Cheers Guys, Yep Im ordering them this week and getting them fitted very soon I hope. I am also going to fit the Neuspeed ARB's after a quick discussion with Dialynx, should sort out the body roll!! I had a Porsche 968 with adjustable coilovers and a P1 Impreza before the S4 so Im used to better handling!! David I'll let you know how I get on mate. If your local your more than welcome to try mine with it fitted before you do the same to yours!!!! Cheers.
John_Doe
James, can you PM me with the full details of your choice of springs/shocks etc? I also read about the H&R Sports Springs from AMD Technic. Sadly my home in the UK is well north of Essex so no test drives I wager!!! Good luck and keep your pedal to the metal.... Durrsaku
Eibach is definitely the way to go for the A4 in general. I have done alot of research and i have not heard any bad thing about them. With H&R it will depend on personal preferences and i have also read over other forums that there has been case of people fitting them and then changing their mind to Eibach. clifty127
Guys ended up going with www.balancemotorsport.co.uk for the Eibach springs. Speak to Julian the main man!! Very helpful, nice bloke. These guys give a fantastic service, I ordered the springs on monday and they are here today (wed)!! Getting them fitted next week so for those that are interested i'll let you know what I think in due course!! Cheers.
shark_90
What price have you been quoted for them to be fitted mate? I really need to get mine done.
clifty127
My Local Audi specialist wants £160+VAT, Dialynx said about the £200 mark, just to give you some idea!! I didnt even bother to ask the stealer!! Im getting mine fitted by a local mechanic mate of mine ive known for ages, tried tested and very trusted!! Roughly i'd say it was about an hour per corner. Cheers.
punto16v
i am a new member too. i have not yet purchased my 1st audi. but the suspension is teh first thing on the cards i think. i currently drive a punto (as you might guess) with eibacj springs and koni adjustable shocks. every punto owner in the club i am in swears by them. why dont yo fit the springs yourself? it cant be that hard. i did mine. its just really time consuming
clifty127
I'd love to, but havent got all the tools I need. Plus its a lot easier off a lift!! I'll be doing the ARB's myself once i get them. Nice and easy!!
