Dan32
I know it sort of belongs in 'Spotted' but was in Brighton yesterday and a silver R followed me for a bit. At the traffic lights where i was turning left, he pulled alongside me and gave me a thumbs up. Had to be at least 70. How cool!
R32North
Theres an old geezer in Edinburgh who drives a silver R32. Don't think he's in his 70's, but late 50s at least, maybe early 60s!!!
CraigR
Dont know about the oldest, but i would have a bet on Six being the shortest
Smudge
I think some of you are forgetting a resident TSN'r that owns an R32. He's got to be knocking on around the late 60's from the pic I've seen.

vw55olf
Had the original GTi in Lhaza green, then the 16v followed by the Colour Concept (bit disappointing) did over 150,000 miles in each of them and not owned a VW for 10 years but I'm a big fan - best car to buy if you are spending your own money - versatile, reliable, good residuals, economical and a great drive. So to answer the question yes I'm old - really old - over 60 but I'm still going to have a Mk V R32.

[/ QUOTE ] It's good to know the R inspires all ages from the more mature amongst us to youngest one of all which is probably me, if i see him i will have to inform him of TSN.
