TDI Remap of Joyous Joy

Woohoo!!!!

I took my car to Fontain on friday for a service - top work as usual from the Guys at Fontain and a HUGE saving over the dealer quote!

But anyway, I finally took the plunge and went for the Revo treatment. As i mentioned in an earlier post, Revo have dropped £100 off the price of all remaps so it worked out at £470 all in.

My car is a TDI130 avant and i was already impressed with the pull on the motorways but with the Revo, it's a transformed car in every way. It pulls like the S3 on the motorway now and when driving around town, the power is so much smoother and useable. It's hard to explain but the car feel so much nicer in every way. And, get this, the economy is fantastic! I've seen 700 miles range on the DIS for the first time since i've owned the car.

So I'm VERY, VERY happy with it. It's a shame that Revo dont do a 5 hour trial for the TDI remaps cos i'd recommend it to anyone.

Even if you're not after boy-racer power, the remap is well worth considering just for the way that it improves the feel of the car and of course, the economy. Now The wife has offered to buy me some new alloys for christmas, things couldn't get much better! I cant decide what to go for though, dont want to spend a fortune cos i'll feel bad about it. Some nice RSTT's might fit the bill but the lure of the RS6 alloys are very tempting!
