Yeah the delivery guy was here for about 11am yesterday..........poor guy had been up from 4:30 that morning. Didn't realise it would take so long to get from Leicester to Glasgow! Anyway well worth the wait!! Cheers again.
MOSE
Car looks great Ros. Please check your passenger side fog lamp glass and PLEASE tell me that it is a trick of the camera or light, as it appears to have what looks like a small crack on the glass?? Or is this just my eyesight or the way the camera has caught the light on the glass? ENJOY the car mate

Think it's just the actual reflector that you see, but will check it when the fiancee comes back with the car.
Roswell
Just interested in people's opinions........what do you all think of the mudflaps?? I think they are pretty inconspicuous myself!
Booster
Blimey, you are trusting! I didn't let my Mrs take my motor out until I'd been out in it with her to assess the situation! (But maybe that's beacuse she ripped the front valance off my old car reversing off a kerb )

doogal1972
Your love runs deep eh? My Mrs + my car = It's the law! Nice car mate, best check it when you get home though! Mud flaps are pretty subtle, look ok IMO. Only joking mate, I'm sure she's a great driver

autobahn
[ QUOTE ] Just interested in people's opinions........what do you all think of the mudflaps?? I think they are pretty inconspicuous myself! [/ QUOTE ] Had them on both my A3s, although seem to blend in much better on the new one thanks to the diffuser (s-line exterior pack). Whilst m/flaps aren't everyones choice it does keep the stones from the bodywork on decent b-road thrashes. Well worth it. Be interested to see what your interior build is like in a few months. Mine has developed two or three irritating rattles which will be getting attention shortly. Previous one (on the standard sport set-up) didn't have a squeak in 12 months! Totally biased but great looking car mate

F90X
Very nice, I am extremely tempted by a used one of these instead of an S3. My last company car was a Golf TDI130 so I know I would like the engine and i've really got into the new shape A3 too. hhhmmmm what to do??? Wallachie
[ QUOTE ] hhhmmmm what to do??? [/ QUOTE ] Buy a S3, in my opinion nothing in the current A3 range is as special. The 2.0 TDI is a great car, but you can't compare it with the S3. Best alternative to the S3 in the current range is the 2.0TQ.
F90X
You might be right Mills, I am going to hassle some dealers at the weekend for a few test drives in S3's.
thejp
Hey Roswell, Nice to see those pics! In fact very nice! Got me day-dreaming of my A3 I got one spec'ed just like yours (from the pics at least, same motoring, interior and exterior S-line packs) only mine's going to be Phantom Black... 3 weeks to go (fingers crossed) and counting As for breaking in... been thinking about this too and my only conclusion so far is... squat... hehehe, seems there are 2 very distinctive schools of thought (easy break in vs hard) so you're left there thinking what to go for...
