Thanks Red Robin. the question is how can I get rid of wait suffering? Specially with final exams end of year, the can is expected to arrive first week of January. Can you imagin what I'll do if the car arrives before I finish my exams!! Complete disaster.

I think I'll even wait more than you do in the UK as my GTI has to be shiped to Bahrain.

How to get rid of "wait suffering"? - No-one can help you!! We all went through it so you have to too!! It's part of the 'initiation. But, joking apart, you'll appreciate her (the GTI) more when she comes - Bespoke and made just for you rather than off-the-shelf. You can tell by reading the posts on here that the last few weeks are the worst....Aren't they, mu and a few others.

Sorry about missing you are in Bahrain (I haven't been there for a while)....Was in a hurry. You'll get lots of info and help from everyone here at TSN 169144-ok.gif

Actual final assembly seems to take exactly a week. So, your build will have been completed at end of week 47

Hate to dissapoint you Bahrain, but mine was week 42 (17th Oct) and is still being pieced together as we speak. VW said it can take up to 2 weeks (I suppose it is all dependent on spec).

Anyhow, won't be long now.

Lads, no more of the pictures with car bits all over the place.. it just makes me think how many things can go wrong with it!

....That image had the same effect on me at first but then I got to thinking just how good the manufacturers are in bringing it all together. We shouldn't always cane them for the smaller faults (providing they put them right under warranty).
