MattR32
Which them leads to: PV = nNkT where k is Bolztmanns constant. Or we could just add a bit more air to the tyre!

Rustynuts
Petrol cars use more fuel in winter aswell, you know. We're still the same margin ahead in economy terms.
Hopsta
I really am shocked at the drop in economics, don't recall it being this bad last year! Just have to stick with lighter right foot and the econ button
danksy
I'm on free diesel until 3rd Jan and my right foot has got a lot heavier
Rustynuts
The Massey Fergies I used to drive had a hand throttle! Some years ago mind, on a MF 135.
danksy
They all have hand throttles, but unlike a car throttle the tractors throttles stay in one position, therefore you need to use your hand to throttle back or throttle forward Tractors can also have foot throttles, but these are spring loaded like a car so are really only any good for roadwork. PS my mpg was in the car
s4_sat
my clio went to 38.2mpg after i got the oil changed. went back up to 57mpg after a couple of weeks.
pingpongpo
[ QUOTE ] And check your tyre pressures - the cold weather means the pressure drops inside them! [/ QUOTE ] Won't the tyres warm up to the same temperature as normal when driving though? Give or take a little bit.
