skifly
I have a voda corporate contract so have a limited range of handsets so wondered if anyone had any ideas on the following phones: Nokia 6230i Nokia 6021 Motorola V550 Sony Ericsson K700i (possibly can get if i push) Nokia 6822 V3 Razr thingy in black. Currently use phone quite heavily at work so would want something with decent battery and bluetooth sychronisation with outlook and for the parrot in car kit with phone book synch. Also probably with camera as i do quite like taking entertaining pictures when i am out and about! (spottage and birdage) Any ideas from the fellow TSN'ers in the business?? skifly
oh and these are all free options except for the P910(?) smartphone which is £55 but would never consider it!! Any other options that are being brought out that are similar to these but better as i may be able to convince them to go with another model if necessary. Gren
[ QUOTE ] sony synchrosnise flawlessly with Outlook hence i am a bit of a fanboy - but the k700i is outdated and a bit pants; ask for a k750i. v3 is nice looking [all i know about it] [/ QUOTE ] Just got a SE K750i and am well pleased with it. Plenty of toys - 2MP camera, browser, picks up GMail, MP3/4s, radio and very good call sound quality. Got it free on Vodafone contract. Never got it to sync properly with Outlook though. Kept crasing after about 75 contacts (out of 250).
skifly
contacts thingy is worrying as i think my helpdesk would do the "we dont support those features" thingy like they did when my moby wouldnt receive picture messages! Also my parrot kit keeps disconnecting from my current 6230 so am a bit worried about just being boring and getting the 6230i. Will have a chat with our helpdesk and see if they do have any 750's that i could have!
NunchukHamster
I've got a V3, which I really like. Can be a pain in the arse to synch with desktop pc tho'.
skifly
hmmm - got a T630 for a few days to test my bluetooth kit as it keeps disconnecting but cant get the damn thing to synch properly with outlook for my contacts. Driving me a bit mad at the mo TBH. Will have to look into this a bit more and get a guarantee that i can change it if i cant synch it.
