doogal1972
After taking my car to AMD yesterday and had a diagnostic and roling road the results were as follows. My 210bhp face lift S3 has 221.5bhp! After along chat with the guys at AMD they said that's normal for a 210. Normally the 225 produces maybe 3-4 more bhp but that's it. The 210 is over a hundred quid cheaper to insure than a 225 so I think I have a bargain. Just thought I'd post my findings for you, I thought they were quite interesting. Cheers
Cupramax
We found pretty much the same with Leon Cupra R's which also used the 210 & 225. 210's were always closer to 220 and 225 usually ran over 230.

[/ QUOTE ] Hi Ian, Standard theres not much between them really, the Leon had a bit more top end when you were really pushing but the A3 is stronger mid range. Mine was running 270hp + 285lb/ft with a Revo remap so the A3 feels a bit flat after that, but thats going to be remedied next week
iclarke
You going for a chip then ? I have to say I'm seriously thinking of doing the same (particularly as I will have Quattro too) I'm just worried about the usual warranty issues. Which one you going for ?
