AZURES3
I bought some of this today as I could not find any Scratch X. My paint is pearlescent so I was worried about using anything but it says ok for all. It has removed the depth from the 12" longth scracthces but flattened the paint to a dull finish where used. I presume once it stops raining and I get the AutoGlym Super resin Polish followed by the Extra gloss protection it will look better again ? runflat
yeah, I have used this, it is fairly aggressive. I usually follow with scratch x (which is actually VERY mild) and then SRP followed by NXT Tech Wax. TBH you could probably forgo the Scratch-X and give it a good treatment of SRP. Remember to use straight line motion, don't circle when polishing. I also find for deep scratches you can't remove, colour magic hides them well (i use black turtle on mine)
Gren
This stuff is like T-Cut from memory. Get some polish and then wax on it as soon as possible to protect the paint. Gotta admit I usually find Scratch -X gets rid of most things but sometimes does require 6-8 applications as it breaks down (particles get smaller as you're using) when you use it. malagus
The best stuff to remove scratches is either the Farecla stuff (G3+5), and then BlackTOP machine glaze, or the 3M fast cut compound followed by polish and glaze. The best bet is to go for the hand compound of Fareclas then the glaze if the AG stuff doesn't work.
Hudson
Hi, I have both the autoglym stuff and the farecla G3 and G6, i find the autoglym fine for most fine scratches but anything more nasty then it's the G3.
