mpk
I can't figure out from the completely indecipherable photograph in the Haynes manual where to look - can anyone explain to me where I go to check and top-up the gearbox oil level? A and B look like places in which oil might well go, but I'm not convinced about either. Any ideas? It's a 1985 1.6 5-speed manual (020 box?), btw. pritesh
Point B is the clutch cable entry so thats a no no. Im not sure about A. have you tried to look on the side of the gear box? usually of you get the front passenger wheel of you may see a drain plug or somthing? Tobes49
The filler/level plug is on the passenger side, Look at the side you will see a green bung, looks toward to rear slightly and you will see a 17mm allen key that the level.
