Snail
Anyone traded their xbox in recently at Game or similar? how much are they worth?
Sparky
Just sold mine (only used it for 2 hours max), sold it with 2 games and 1 controller, and got £120. Was offered £140, but sold it to a mate at work. Game refused to take it.
Chelsea Mick
Bloody hell Sparky. You done alright there. Game online are selling Xbox Console, 2 controllers and Halo2 for £129.99. New console on it's own £99.99 Snail. I did hear on live that Game are offering £40 trade-in on old consoles against the 360. They really are worth next to nothing now obviously due to the 360's release next month. I know we won't be trying to get rid of any of the 5 xboxes we have. Just isn't worth the aggro, unless of course you find someone like Sparky did
Snail
I might put mine on ebay, as they seem to go for about £70 with a game or 2. No point keeping mine, it'll just gather dust!!
Sparky
[ QUOTE ] Bloody hell Sparky. You done alright there. [/ QUOTE ] Well it all cost £180 when new. It's been out of the box for no more than 2 hours either! Prefer the PS2 much more and am waiting for the PS3. So, selling the console really for what I paid, but the two games (£40 each) and controller are at a loss. I've had another offer for it today too. £130 they offered. He doesn't like the 360. Sparky
Just a comment. Not sure. I've heard a few say that. I think they are basing it on reviews, pics etc.

Smiddy
how much do you think one will go for with one controller the av advanced pack (optical out) and about 20 games?
Snail
Well, game are taking xbox's for £50, assuming £5 a game, thats quite a bit.
pingpongpo
I wouldn't bother selling tbh. Its not worth it. I always think about selling some of my old consoles and then on another day I want to get them out and have a play. The amount of room they take up is worth the hassle Vs not having them around when I want them.
Sparky
I think some of you are underselling! I've had 6 offers for mine now, all over £100. It's only been used for 2 hours tops, and has two games, but not short of offers for it.
