ECS stage 5 front disc and caliper upgrade...

Does anyone have these fitted?

ATM I have their OEM 335mm front upgrade with their stage 1 rear upgrade...

Is the stage 5 a straight swap? Or does the master cylinder need to be chaged?

Is the braking much better?

Anything I should budget for over and above the purchase of the discs?

Cheers

I'd have though the ECS Stage II would be ample for most peoples need, ie up to 350bhp at least!!!

Stage 5 looks massive, like it would haul a truck to a dead stop!

In saying that I wouldn't have though you'd need to upgrade the MS, only add braided lines and better fulid (or does that come with the kit?)

I run the ECS Stage 5 front and Stage 1 rear. The kit comes with replacement flexible brake lines - I didn't change the fluid, even though it comes with the kit. It has been on several track days since, can there is zero brake fade and the fluid just can't get that hot.

You don't need to replace the master cylinder, but you must upgrade the rear brakes if you go for Stage 5 front, or the brake imbalance will be horrendous.
