grin.gif My baby went into the dealers today for a couple of warranty bits and bobs.

One of them was because on cold mornings I couldn't get into the car with the blipper - I was having to use the key in the door. Then when you open the door the dash was 'on' and when you put the key in the dash went 'off' - then you had to remove and re-enter the key to start the car suicide.gif Apparently this is a known problem with the remote central locking module and the subject of an outstanding recall ?

Has anyone else had this prob ?

grin.gif Got the car back on Saturday morning but not all was fixed.

Called early Sat morning to check the car was ready, was told yes it was and to bring my spare keys with me.

When I arrived I was told that they needed my keys for an hour to program them ???

Didn't have an hour to wait around so collect my Boxster, leaving behind the almost pink Cayenne. I've got to go back there next Saturday morning for the keys to be sorted smashfreakB.gif

grin.gif Finally remembered to book the Boxster in to get the outstanding recall done to sort the central locking and get the keys reprogrammed 169144-ok.gif

Anyway, all sorted as well as another recall ! This time to add some washers to something, somewhere - can you tell I wasn't really paying attention yelrotflmao.gif

If anyone wants me to find out - shout and I'll give them a call to see what they really did 169144-ok.gif

You will know when it does. During warm up at 2100rpm it sounds like there is a rattle snake in the car! Very loud and worrying if you did not know what it was. Its the oil pressure relase valve that makes the noise but does not effect the engine.
