Ari
Or just buy it from Currys! Think I'm going to hold out till after Christmas, don't need one till next spring anyway, don't go very far in the winter. With a bit of luck prices will drop again in the new year, they've already dropped quite a bit in the last couple of months.

mmj
As mentioned in another thread, you can buy a cradle for your tomtom (from here) This allows audio through the stereo speakers and mute etc. May be of interest for you guys. bigzosso
I have bought the Navman 320. Didnt see why the Tom Tom series was worth paying extra for what I required. MP3 function? my cd player is MP3 so all my disks are already in that format. I just wanted to input a destination and be told which way to go. The Navman does that brilliantly, usually to the front door. I dare say paying extra gets you extra, you have to assess whether you want it for directions, more than that, or just for directions and pose factor (How many people use akll the functions on their mobile phone? most just brag about what it will do without ever trying it out) If basic directions is what you wnat I would recommend the Navman 320 (£159 at Homebase or £169 Halfords) I would imagine the more you pay the more accurate they are, My Navman say turn RIGHT about 70mtrs before the turning. At first this caught me out but 1. You soon realise to turn in 70mtrs time, not the street you are next to, and 2. 1/2 mile back it displays the name of the street you are to turn into so if unsure read the clear display and you dont go wrong. The worst prob with any satnav equipment is when you first get it you use it for all the journeys you know like the back of your hand!!! Good fun though. Seriously, it does what it says, is so easy to use, comes with portable windscreen sucker braket so is easily transferable to several cars, is slightly bigger than a packet of fags and is cheap. Firmly recommended as a basic system
