Hi all

just wondering/enquiring about people who have had their aristos refurbished and happy with the results!,if they have had this done, reason being ive kerbed one of my front wheels last week while parking (OVERPARKING WHEN YOU KNOW YOU ARE CLOSE TO THE KERB) on the left. Im just debating whether to wait till just before the clocks go forward again end of March as i know loads of rubbish weather is on the way!

Also if all wheels have been refurbished have you left your car with a alloy/wheel fitter or done two at a time etc?

thanks all

Who bad is the damage, cos if it thru to he un protected alloy then you could damage them further by letting slat and forst get at them.

If you want to wait till the better weather, nip along to VW or other and get a wee pot of paint laquer. Clean up the area and cover the area in laquer to give it some protection until you get the refurbed.

Note: best to laquer them in a warm dry garage and not outside in the cold.

there only a slight scuff abrasion on a couple of the spokes nothing deep just scratched, cant afford full refurb on all the wheels but when i do get the cash thats the 1st thing im sorting out my front tyres arent the same as the PS2s on the rear and the curb protection on the front tyres arent as good !!

thanks mate for help
