Just bought an A6 Quattro with Vanilla Leather and cream seatbelts, had a family based on the Wayne and Wainetta scenario who owned it, the belts with mucky grey/black. I used the Meguiers upholstery cleaner and i found that a lot better than my Autoglym cleaner, give it a go.

True was S8346 says, garages/dealers etc are good at what they do, but they are not too good at looking after your pride and joy the way you do. I have had this on many occasions when the oily oik from the service bay climbs into my vanilla leather interior with his overalls covered in litres of 10w/40 !!

Seat Belts:

•Maintenance clean seat belts with a 5:1 Woolite® distilled water solution.

•For spot stains use a fabric cleaner (303 Cleaner & Spot RemoverTM)

Pull the belts from the retractor and gently close the door on the belt, clean and allow to air dry before opening the door and retracting the belt.

•Do not use bleach or strong detergents, or dye on the seat belts as this may severely weaken them and render them ineffective in a crash.

•Once fabric is dry apply a fabric protection (303TM High Tech Fabric Guard)
