Horn Trouble

Has anyone heard of this before, yesterday i was out in my bora when suddenly as i turned a corner, the horn went off and it wouldnt stop. I switched the engine off, started up again and it was ok. then as i pulled into a car park i could hear something rolling about brhind the airbag on the steering wheel, which was causing the horn to activate intermittently. well you can imagine the looks and v signs i got on the way home, anyway its back at the dealers who say a spring or something has broken off and they will have the part tomorrow and will fix it. how will they do this? will the steering wheel have to come off? will they put it back correctly etc. or can they access the horn by removing the airbag cover on the wheel, any ideas anyone.

It will be the Aig bag slip ring that is fecked.

To replace this the

*Air bag is removed

*The centre bolt is removed from the steeing wheel

*The steering wheel postion is marked on the steering coluum

then the slip ring is replaced and all the parts removed are refitted.

Then the Technicain takes the piss out of you stupid key ring or the stupid soft toys in the car yelrotflmao.gif
