theduisbergkid Posted November 30, 2005 Report Share Posted November 30, 2005 Not having a good week, first some scumbags breaks into our new V70, then the Gti's alarm goes off when you look at it, then .... Wife calls me 'clutch on the BMW is heavy' ... then again 2 minutes later 'I can't get it into gear at all' ... gets it towed home. It sounds like a clutch cable to me, but someone said that these are hydraulic (?). Its a 1993 525 24V model, no other faults, well looked after with full history etc etc. Mobile mechanical can't come out until the weekend Before I freeze to death in the dark later, trying to find the fault - does anyone have any suggestions where to start ??
