Advent
I've noticed the clutch gentley vibrating at times when driving, usually before I change gear. Problem or normal? Also the accelator dips a little (i.e. revs without my foot on it) for a second just after I change gear. Are these two things related?

cosmicblue
As a general rule clutches don't vibrate to the extent that you can feel it because the clutch cover/pressure plate is bolted to the flywheel and spins at engine speed. The clutch disk/drive plate is on the gear box input shaft and that also spins pretty quickly. Perhaps you have an engine mounting on its way out? doogal1972
If you rest your foot on the clutch pedal or maybe dip the clutch pedal a tiny amount you will feel a real vibration through the pedal. This I think is due to the dual mass fly wheel and is a characteristic of the car, I've been told. The accelerator problem, I have no idea.
