CabGirl
Looks good - the wheels look a bit small under the arches though. Igonre that! They look fine when you look at the larger image.
Gren
Looks good.....mainly cos they've left it alone. Back end looks a bit more 350Z in side profile, back end has shades of A6 about it. Front end, from side profile, does look a bit like a FOcus as well. Overall I like it. The shape has lost its impact (to many on the road and for too long) so I'm a bit disappointed that it doesn't move things along - I'm pretty sure the performance/dynamics won't be a big step forward. Looks like Audi playing VERY safe which is a disappointment. Then again I do like it!
lottiefox
If that is the new TT I think I need to start saving. Now. Want that one. I like it.

Scotty
From some work on the TT-forum it appears that all they've done it used a bit of tape to change the lights from the Shooting Brake concept car. It looks like this is the real deal.
Dave
I'm not sure.. doesn't have any WOW factor for me

Wallachie
I'm not convinced from those photos, but I'm sure a well spec'd version will look good. For me though, it's a big disappointment after seeing the shooting brake concept, which I loved the look of!
Scotty
It is the shooting brake!!! It's just got a coupe roof on and some tapes on the lights!
Wallachie
[ QUOTE ] It is the shooting brake!!! It's just got a coupe roof on and some tapes on the lights! [/ QUOTE ] It's not exactly the shooting brake, yeah it's based on it but there are a few design differences that I can see. As I said, maybe a well kitted out new TT will look good, but those photos don't do the car justice at all in that poverty spec. The rrea roof line and back pillar on the concept was much nicer, even though it looked more like a hatch back.
Scotty
The shooting brake was a shooting brake. That's why I said it was a coupe I expect to see all three variants.
BenjyGTI
Have to say I agree with Scotty Those pics are of the coupe car which is basically the 'shooting brake' version seen in autocar with the coupe sloping roof design. It does seem as though the pictures show a basic spec version of the TT, but then again, looking at the grille which looks grafted on and not part of the design, it may well be that Audi has done some (basic) disguising of the bumpers to fool people. I do hope the bumpers on the production TT match those or are similar to the shooting brakes versions which were rather agressive looking, have to say I have quite warmed to the chrome slat effect grill on the shooting brake too! I have read that the grill will not make production though, and will be replaced with a more 'normal' looking audi grill, shame, as I quite liked the audi rings placed on the lower edge of the bonnet. Just thought I'd add my few pennies worth anyway I am interested to see how the TT pans out, as I current;ly have a newish Golf GTi that i would consider selling to purchase a new TT, I had a TT S-Line before the Golf, so would relish the chance to buy the newer version Will keep nosing on your guys Audi forum now PS:- Did scan the image of the shooting brake out of Autocar from head on, if u squint, it looks like the coupe version from the front, and it looks damn awesome!!! How do I post that pic here? Quite a novice here really
Scotty
Karsi on the tt-forum did this comparison : Looks simply like the clever use of tape.
GenocidalDuck
I like it but just hope they dont put those stinking nasty looking round fog lights on lover part of the bumper. I really dont like them.
david_d
maybe I'm alone, but I think it looks bland beyond belief. If you hadnt told me I wouldn't have guessed it was an audi.
Miss_Quattro
I have to say I am disappointed too!! I bought an A4 Cab as a stand-in between selling my TTR last year and the new one coming out, its not different enough for me, better save up a bit more for that 911!
