mb Posted January 25, 2006 Report Share Posted January 25, 2006 I have the Micro RP & always thought it would be handy to display the current speed limit all the time (only displays limit when approaching a camera) doesn't beep if not exceeding limit - that would be annoying ! [/ QUOTE ] That would require a rather substantial database - to be aware of the speed limit on every bit of road in the country. [/ QUOTE ] I don;t think they could do that legally, as the speed displayed is what the camera is set to, rather than the speed limit of the road (although, they will normally always be the same.) In the event of a road speed being changed, the RA would alert the speed the camera was set to as per database, so a driver could use this in defense if he was done.
