ok all you TSN'ers....

you may (or may not!!) remember our online buddies Insurance_Jon and Omi setting up the jolly trip to the Nurburgring. Well, the event and all details are 99.9% definate now (dates etc.) and i am quite surprised at the lack of TSN members on there..... confused.gif

So come on, grab your wallets, splash out a few hundred quid and come along for the laugh - it's for charity afterall!!!

Visit www.scumball.co.uk to read the details and join in the Forum conversations..... 169144-ok.gif

I am going with my stepdad in some clapped out Jag, god help us!! shocked.gif Grab a friend and half the costs and lets support the hard work put in my Jon and Omi....

Over an out 169144-ok.gif

I would really like to do this but this year is going to be a bit difficult as I am going to try and go on hols that week, it's the first week my other half is off work so we'd like to get away, I don't think she'd be too happy about going to the ring in a clapped out old 525i (which is probably what i'd choose for 1k).

Is there going to be another one?

I'm still considering the Fiesta if I don't sell it in time, but I need to find out about insurance.

Can you add a car to an existing policy?

[/ QUOTE ]

Depends on your insurer, but yes, you should be able to. Whenever we have bought a new car and sold the old one privately, we've always changed the policy to the new car and then added the old car to the existing policy for a month (if you see what I mean) and told them it is being insured while we sell it. Normally costs about £40 for the month (but that was for "sensible" cars like Mrs Mook's GT TDIs).

Give 'em a ring and ask.

I totally endorse Avant's nudge - Mook + 1 are doing the Scumball, although having previously secured a sound car for £310, it's now completely dead (fortunately we hadn't parted with the cash), so we've got to choose between a Mk2 Golf GTI cool.gif, a 1988 Merc 500 SE laugh.gif or a 92 Accord 2.2... crazy.gif

awwww mate - it has to be the Mk2 Golf GTi - i used to have an 8valver, just before the big-bumper model - stunning motor and very quick with non-16v low down grunt.....

It was my pride and joy till a 7.5 tonne Amtrack white van piled into the back of me and wrote it off - me nearly with it! frown.gif Still refuse to use Amtrack to this day for courier work! grin.gif
