drpellypo
Those who have read my ebay buyer of doom thread in the loj will know I'm not likely to be selling anything on there for quite some time! So, I'm offering up the above. As far as I know it has everything you'll need for the cam to plug straight into the hideaway box of the Avic. Certainly the AV plug and the long cable is there, as well as the mount. It may well work on any system, as it seems to just be a standard av plug. I have no idea whether this is the case though. It was on my Passat for about 18 months IIRC and is in great nick! Cost me £200. I'll take £50ono. If anything it's an investment opportunity. These are going on ebay for up to £80. drpellypo
Pic. Sorry for bad quality - pic was taken with camera phone. As you can see, there's the cam, the inline module, the AV cable, and another black cable. I have no idea if this is everything you need - it may well be incomplete, but I can say it was working on my unit, and then removed by an auto electrician, and put in a bag, so I have no reason to doubt everything is not there. But I'm not 100% sure, cos I can't remember what it looked like when I bought it. In short what I am saying is that I am selling this with no warranty whatsoever, and I can't guarantee it works (although it was when taken off my car.) It's not physically damaged. OK.. I'd say that's my back covered!
Mo-S3
Hey chill man, were not ebay right now. Can you provide me dimensions to the camera please? need to see where i could mount it on my S3 Is the camera unit a sealed box or can it be opened with screws? Thanks
drpellypo
Hehe.. I know I know. There's a 10p piece next to the cam for size reference On the Passat, I had it mounted directly above the reg plate. You could hardly see it. Dunno if it's sealed. The housing is not much bigger than the lens though.
