Following on from the HSV thread I thought some of you may be interested in the monthly Volkswagen/Audi/Seat/Skoda meet that is held at the Ace Cafe on the last Tuesday of each month.

The meet is not a TSN one as such as it is hosted by Elite1000 but everyone is welcome 169144-ok.gif

The Ace Cafe is situated just off the North Circular Road near Park Royal/Wembley. The post code is NW10 7NN. If you want to park in the Ace car park the you are advised to get there early as it is a popular event. Normally starts around 7:00pm beerchug.gif

There is usually a complete range of cars from standard VW Polo's to 400+hp S4's. The Elite 1000 club was established to cater for every car within the VAG group modified or unmodified.

As for the Westside VW chaps, yes a lot of them do turn up I assume alot of their members are based in the area.

It always gets busy the carpark will be full, but arriving at 8 you should get into the car park the Marshalls will guide you in and tell you where they want you, failing that its best to park opposite if you can. Dont park at the tile place next door because they clamp the cars!

Theres usually quite a few 1.8T's in various cars, mostly VW Golfs but there is usually some S3's about and the MRC tuned S4 often attends cool.gif

Hey S3_Envy, saw you there going up and down the road trying to get a space.

I turned up about 7 and got a space right outside next to a couple of Golfs. Nice meet, good selection of VAG cars. Funniest thing was a Leon Curpa R came into the car park and proceeded to catch alight underneath - the marshals dealt with it quickly enough. My fav car there was a nice silver RS4 avant and a Mk1 golf with an S3 engine in it! The guy who drove it is from Luton. He knew my car and knew where i lived too! sekret.gif

Overall really good fun, if a little cold. Only one idiot in a BMW doing burnouts outside the entrance. bike.thumb.gif David

Damn! I didn't see you or your motor Dave, was keeping an eye out for you too!

Hopefully I'll get to meet all of you in person at the next proper TSN meet!

I was en-route to make it for about 7:30, then got stuck in loads of traffic on the way back from work and by the time I got down there all the decent parking had gone, did about 10 lengths of the road before I gave up!

Lol, I got stuck behind the muppet in the BMW doing burnouts in the road, kept my distance, didn't really fancy the nose of my car covered in stones and molten rubber!

Saw a really nice Avus RS4 parked with it's boot facing the road, anyone on here?....and who I presume was Avus_Bub with a Avus A4 wearing a certain number plate on the opposite side of the road.

I was the silver S3 that let you and your buddy cross the road when you arrived if you can remember?

Wish I'd of come in now for a wander but my friend didn't fancy it, thought it looked a little too "Max-Power" for his liking.

Next time, I'll be at the next Essex meet for sure. 169144-ok.gif

How could I forget Envy?! I think you had the cleanest car I saw all night!! beerchug.gif

It might've been a little 'Max Power' for some but I'm sure in the summer they'll be more of a cross section of VAG cars.....
