BenjaminTDI
Nice spec. The only thing I wouldn't have bothered with is electrically folding door mirrors. But that's because I never have to parallel park, they are useful if you live in a city.
Drewcam
Nice car and nice spec I think car choice and spec is very individual and for me it comes down to what i can afford and what i think is value for money. If your happy with it then thats the main thing mate.
homer42
Thanks BenjaminTDI, There seems to be alot support for heated front seats are they that good?
CraigR
They are very nice, especially if you have leather seats on a cold morning Agreed with the folding mirror comments, unless you park your car on the street every night then why bother with them. Milo
I agree with the comments. It's down to personal choice and choosing a spec that suits you and your needs and wants. We'd all like to tick every option but it's not financially possible for most. You're never going to find 2 people who agree on exactly the same spec, especially on a car forum My 2p worth, I think you've got a great spec there. If it was my car I don't know if I'd gone for the folding mirrors. And like Craig says, if it's leather, heated seats maybe something you should consider. If it's cloth, they would be a nice touch but not essential. Did the dealer give you any idea of the delivery date
homer42
Not completely taken by the akoya silver - black looks fantastic.
Avus_Bub
That spec is the same as my B6 bar the front sensors, rear glass and Bose(on mine). It's a great spec!!! Enjoy.. BUB
P_G
I'll stick up for you with the folding mirrors option as it has saved mine getting ripped off by bikers trying to ride bewteen cars in a queue and misjudging gaps on a couple of occasions. Sponge
Excellent choice of car. I park on the street every night and folding mirrors would have been nice, but I had to draw the line somewhere. I have the Symphony unit and also use an iPod. I'd keep the Symphony. I find there are times I don't have my iPod with me, but know I can fall back on the 6 CDs in the changer. I wanted front parking sensors, but they wouldn't let me pay the difference to have them installed (I got the rears as part of the 'Lifestyle Pack'). Privacy glass is ace! I would have liked the front centre arm rest, but couldn't justify the price. Plus my journeys tend to be shorter and around town, so it may well have got in the way anyway. I was disappointed that there was no 'ski tunnel' in the rear (there is an armrest). I was expecting one, but it's an optional extra! So if you want to be able to carry long loads without dropping the seats, it might be worth considering. I can't think of anything else at the moment... Edit: Have you considered the Interior Light Pack? I discounted it due to cost, but it would be nice. Bear in mind you can retro-fit some bits of it, e.g. the ambient LED lights in the roof. Oh yes, black roof lining. I have a black car and the black roof lining finishes it off nicely. A friend of mine has a sliver-blue A3 (sorry, don't know name of colour) and he has the black roof lining and it still looks cool, even on a non-black car. So that may be worth considering. Sponge
One more thing - I paid for ISOFIX, but it should be standard on yours by now.
lottiefox
Folding mirrors very useful IMO. Heated seats are nice I guess but they used to make me feel a bit sick in the other TT. Sounds like a fab car - Akoya is absolutely Enjoy!!
homer42
Thanks for your support guys - will provide more info on delivery etc as soon as I get it. Sponge, what colour of black is your S-Line, it looks great?
Soapsuds
had a Jag loaner for 2 weeks recently and thet had folding mirrors. I used them every day, even though i park on the drive!! 1 click of the button and it just 'feels' safer PS - i hate friggin heated seats. My old Honda Accord had them - the wife loved them, but gave me a sweaty arse!!!

I'd reiterate what others have said - probably add heated seats. I'd also delete the privacy glass as it's a bit too bling for my liking, but that's up to you. sidicks

Here in Belgium, Audi offers a "kit lounge" for a *very* reasonable price, it includes volterra leather interior, heated seats, autodimming rearviewmirror, autosensing lights + wipers and coming/leaving home function. Maybe there's a similar pack in the UK? Wouldn't go for 18" alloys myself, it looks great no doubt, but it's an expensive option and it's gonna cost you more in tyres as well. I got the 17" 5-spoke parallel alloys myself, and I get comments from colleagues all the time about how nice they look Akoya is not a bad color, but I prefer the B7 in darker colors. Currently I have a phantom black one, and I had a moro blue one before. Both look fabulous when clean, but they do get visibly dirty very quickly. Also, have you thought about having a custom soundsystem fitted instead of the 6cd changer? I've always found the factory fit radio very expensive for what it is, you can get much better value if you shop around for a custom one, perhaps one with mp3 capabilities instead of a 6CD changer.
